NUFLEX ADVANTAGES

Flex Stretching utilizes knee compression techniques, allowing therapists to apply their entire weight effectively, and proves particularly beneficial in treating taller and larger patients. Combining Flex Stretching with RMT massage sessions, acupuncture, and cupping therapy enhances the overall outcome through synergistic effects. Experience the transformative power of Flex Stretching for optimal musculoskeletal health.

WHY FLEXIBILITY MATTERS

Flex Stretching treatments primarily aim at increasing the range of motion at joints to facilitate better overall movement. Increasing the flexibility of the muscles, tendons, and fascia tissues around a joint will increase its range of motion.

  • What training do Nuflex Therapists have?
All of our Nuflex Therapists come from one of three licensed professional backgrounds: either physiotherapy, chiropractic, or massage therapy. In addition to their professional training, they are required to go through rigorous internal training on the Nuflex techniques and system when they join our team of therapists. They’re also encouraged to attend monthly technical trainings where we bring in some of the top therapists in the world to teach various subjects to our staff.
  • How is Nuflex different than other therapies?
The uniqueness of Nuflex starts with the belief that in some way, everything is connected to everything else. Many therapies don’t have a goal outside of working on what hurts and that specific area only. With Nuflex, we start by looking at the global picture of how your body is ordered and balanced, how your body moves, and how one issue can lead to problems elsewhere. This helps us look strategically and systematically at identifying the root cause of any pain, dysfunction, or areas holding you back from performance improvements. From this point, we work with only manual therapy and movement to create lasting change. Other clinics use machines to get the job done, we don’t
  • Is Nuflex Massage painful?
Very much depends on your individual pain tolerance and experience with being treated. Most clients feel some discomfort here and there but call it “the best pain of their life” because we work at a deep level, releasing long-held tension. You’ll feel instantly better after your session. Based on thousands of hours of refining the Nuflex framework, we’ve learned that techniques are sometimes required that can be painful to create a permanent change in a tissue quickly. If you feel uncomfortable, just let your therapist know, and they will adjust the pressure.
  • How long does a session last?
Your initial assessment and treatment takes approximately one hour, and follow up visits are either 30 or 60 minutes in length depending on a variety of factors.
  • How can Nuflex help me if I'm not in pain?
When we talk about future-proofing your body, we mean it. Don’t wait for an injury to build up. Our modern lifestyle habits of being glued to a chair or couch for many hours a day or in front of a computer screen does not allow our body to work or maintain itself the way it’s supposed to. Add in some weekend warrior activity after a stressful week with very little movement, and you’ve got a recipe for potential future injury and pain. On the other hand, if we take the time on a monthly basis to address your muscular tension, improve your movement patterns, address lifestyle factors, and ensure that we’re dealing intelligently with tweaks and aches before they become a major problem, you’re going to feel better, move faster, and live a longer, pain-free life.
  • What if I need to cancel or reschedule my session?
Per our cancellation policy, if you need to reschedule or cancel your session we require 24 hours advance notice. If you cancel or change your session within 24 hours, we will process a cancellation fee.
